Most people (including your friends, family, Husband, and his relatives) will ask, "Why do you need a support group at all?" Their point being, your own mother and your husband's mom never had the luxury in their times. So what makes you such a rare breed?

The answer is simple: Times have changed and you are the best person to decide what you need for the baby and for yourself. If you have the authority to choose the baby's clothes, the toys, the furniture etc., then it is YOU who will decide what kind of quality service and support you need to buy for the two of you - TOGETHER.

You may read a 1000 books,  or visit all the websites on baby-raising on the internet but nothing, and I repeat, NOTHING can give you the satisfaction as talking to experienced women with babies the same age as yours, and sharing notes with them, can.

It is easy to stay home and become isolated as it can feel quite challenging to get out of the house with the baby. Some women are working moms or full-time housewives, and want to create an expanded social life for themselves and their families. It is fun to care for a baby in the company of other women who are as fascinated by babies as you will be.
